I built a Gemini capsule. Not the Google one, but the tiny space-capsule sort. You can reach it at gemini://mariobreskic.de/ using a Gemini client such as Lagrange.

I have been meaning to do this for a while. Now I finally have a backstage area where I can get properly weird about art, creativity, and design. I am apparently into building rooms lately.

My father built rooms, too. Whole buildings, actually. Rest in peace, Dad. Thy will be done.

This Tumblr is the more relaxed room. As the new description puts it, Code and Canvas is my “after-hours café for exploration, practice, and the work around the work.” Perhaps it is also a little like the garage where you used to hang out with friends and shoot the shit.

I have started investing more time in deepening my studies and expertise, but progress is glacial. Artists are often torn between the world and the otherworld. Perhaps it would help to set aside a protected stretch of time specifically for the world.

A room in time where flow can happen.
