I think I will make it work like this:

have a pinned index post which in turn links to custom tags, rather than individual links (current situation) or a reblog thread (previous situation).

I might be tired from travelling for two days, but I actually needed to discuss this with ChatGPT because it seemed I was going in circles, instead of using what tumblr already does: allow to show specific tags by blog (this one), and leave the sorting to tumblr.

So that is what I am going to do. Tagging this “content meta” so it is clear (to me) what this is about. I seem to remember that I have had a similar nomenclature in 2019, elsewhere (Twitter, I think).

Going to rewrite the indexed post to reflect this new change, and have it simply link to the (each) proper tag I want to use on this blog.

Finally this snapped into place. All I had to do was do a 360° and walk away from it
